The Design-Resource Technologies Control Panel

When you run a website, you have to also manage all the e–mailboxes pertaining to it. And whilst composing e–mail messages is really easy, administering the respective email mailboxes could be tough. You may need to cope with junk mail messages, to create email filters, to worry about security issues, etc.

With our Mailbox Manager, you’ll realize that administering email accounts is not tough at all. You’ll be provided with quick access to all important features (you can redirect electronic mail messages, create mail filters, activate e–mail spam protection, etc.) and you can administer multiple e–mail boxes at the same time.

If you own several domains, managing them with conventional Control Panels can be tricky. The Control Panel–integrated Domain Manager allows you to administer all your domains simultaneously.

If you’ve got multiple domain names, you can also designate different labels to them. In this way, you can quickly filter out your domain names and find just the ones that you need.

With the File Manager located in the Design-Resource Technologies Control Panel, you will have one of the most effective web file management tools at your disposal. With it, you can upload files simply by dragging them into your web browser. You can move files and directories in your account by dragging and dropping them. You can unpack uploaded archives.

You can also right–click on a specific file or directory to get access to these functions.

With the Applications Installer available in the Control Panel, you can quickly install over 40 different software applications, including Joomla^™, Mambo, WordPress and many others. No more looking for the most recent edition of a certain software application. Furthermore, you no longer need to upload, install and set up everything by hand. We will perform all configuration operations and will also automatically create a database for your app.

Moreover, our Applications Installer maintains a record of all the scripts that you have installed, including the user name, the password and the login URL. This way, you can still log in, even if you forget your password.

When speaking about Control Panels, there is one brand that springs to mind – cPanel, a brand, which is now synonymous with "Control Panel". Still, whilst cPanel is extremely famous, during the past few years it has begun to become out of date.

Virtually every web app requires databases to save information. Because of this, we offer an easy–to–use tool – the Databases Manager, from where you can administer all your databases, be that MySQL databases or PostgreSQL databases.

With only a click of the mouse, you can back up entire databases, log into the phpPgAdmin/phpMyAdmin tools, update database access passwords and more.

With the Design-Resource Technologies Control Panel, you can quickly set up an automatic backup of your websites and your MySQL and PgSQL databases in your Dropbox account. This way, you can make certain that, regardless of what happens with our hosting servers, you will always have the latest backup at hand.

Our Dropbox data backup service is totally automated – all you need to do is connect your Dropbox account and indicate the number of backup copies you want to keep at all times.

In the Design-Resource Technologies Control Panel we have integrated the ModSecurity Apache module. It’s a small module that does a wonderful job – it serves as a firewall for your web apps, guarding them against hacker attacks, XSS attacks and URL request forgeries. We have already defined the rules for the firewall software, so you don’t have to configure it before it starts working.

And ModSecurity is activated by default for all your sites – as soon as they go live, they will be instantaneously secured. If you desire, you can manually disable ModSecurity for any of your web sites.
